Fix Yourself

People describe the time we are living in as “crazy times,” the “corona-crisis,” and other expletives. It is awful, but we have to somehow live though it.
We say we are getting stir-crazy, we are tired of this, we are angry, we are sad. The virus, the politics, the social unrest is out of our control. It can be overwhelming.
So, what to do? We can distract ourselves or numb out with addictive behaviors. Or we can find good, healthy things to do like get in nature, try to value our relationships, watch what we eat.
Even if you do the good options instead of the bad, it feels quite inadequate. There must be more we can do, and there is.
Join me in an online quiet reflection. Regular meditation has been proven scientifically to improve mood, resilience, and even help mange pain.

Weekly I am going to work on myself and ask you along to work on yourself. We will use mindful meditation and bible verses. The twenty minutes I am inviting you to join can build reserve, which we all need right now.
Reserve is when you have enough inside to not be depleted by what hits you from outside. And every day the media, and maybe your own life, hits with bad news. If we don’t have enough within to withstand what comes at us, we treat others with anger, we disappoint ourselves, and we can get physical symptoms.

I hope you will go on this journey with me and tell others about it so they can join too!
